At ReVampt we design and manufacture desirable objects from the textile waste of
businesses and individuals. Companies such as upholsterers, fashion designers and
individual producers such as Curtain and Dress Makers. Our aim is to prevent this
waste going to landfil and turn it into new items: off cuts of furnishing fabrics
become sturdy bags, jeans make great doorstops, dress fabrics cut into lovely
lavender bags. It is amazing the amount of good quality fabrics going to waste which
can be recycled into beautiful new products.

Ruth Singer is a textile & fashion designer who works with vintage, recycled and eco fabrics. She specialises in hand-constructed fabrics using traditional techniques such as pleating, appliqué, folding, layering and quilting to create unusual textures and sculptural effects. The fabrics are used for one-off garments, accessories and interior pieces. Ruth also produces a range of scarves, bags and cushions which are decorated and embellished with pleats, gathers, folds and layers.
